#18: I am ridiculously organized. The title of the post actually does not describe my organization very well. Sometimes I am SO organized, that I can’t find what I just had in my hands! I love having Fridays off because I get to clean and organize my room, bathroom and car. It feels so nice to have everything put away in its place! Sometimes, I find a new more obvious place for my things, then I can’t find them when I want to because I look in the “old” place…
I was so obsessed with organization that I would straighten all the piles of papers on the librarian’s desk while I was at the Alameda County Library. I think she thought it was weird because she would point it out every time. The funny part was I didn’t realize I was doing it because I would go up to her desk to talk to her and ended up with a neat desk. In the end, I’m sure she was grateful!
This has been a characteristic I have had forever. When I was done organizing my room, I would go around the house and find something I hadn’t straightened up in a while, and work my magic! (notice my amazing sense of fashion, also)

Oh, unfortunately you grew up & left home.
I filled in one day per week for about 6 mos for another librarian a few years ago. Her desk was not very busy – so I ended up sorting out her drawers. She wrote me a note asking me not to clean her desk. (We have still remained friends!!) Mom
That’s pretty funny Mom.
So maybe on this next visit instead of cleaning our cars you can organize our apartment?
